It's been three months into my Senior Project and so far I've taken a garment construction class, learning some basic pattern copying/editing and drafting techniques. As well as a few accelerated construction techniques. At which, I've made a top and pants by copying the pieces form the original garment. I selected the Final Five looks that I will create: three dresses, one short jacket and pant, and a coat. Along with two pairs of shoes, and I'm contemplating making some jewelry. Currently, I'm working on the first look, a canvas dress (which ill post the flats and process photos later on). So far, I'm moving slow, but I'm optimistic and I'm so happy I'm finally working on one of the looks; took me like two months to do a button-down and pant!
